White Tea
White tea is made from the same plant as green and black tea, but it is a very different drink. It has a much lighter and sweeter flavor than other types of tea. It also has greater health benefits than other types of tea.
What makes white tea different from other teas is when the leaves are harvested. The leaves are picked before they fully open to make this light drink. The leaves also aren’t fermented like they are with black tea.
When you are brewing white tea, you don’t want to use boiling water. Using water that is approximately 180 degrees is perfect. If the water is too hot, it will cause the tea to be bitter. The sweet and fragrant nuances of the tea will be lost if this happens.
