Tea Infuser

If you use loose leaf tea when you are brewing your hot drinks at home, you should look into getting a tea infuser. There are a large number of infusers, and using them can be as much fun as drinking the tea you make with them. With this tool, you can use your favorite tea blends in a loose form, and you don’t have to strain the tea before you drink it.

There are many styles that you can get a tea infuser in. Some of them look like double-sided spoons, and you can easily open them and scoop tea with them. Then the two sides close and keep the tea inside. Other infusers are more like balls or boxes made of mesh. These are generally on the end of a metal stick or chain.

When you are shopping for a tea infuser, you will need to think about the amounts of tea that you generally brew at once. If you brew tea a cup at a time, you will want to get a small infuser. If you like steeping entire pots at once, there are larger infusers made for this as well. Whether you want something very traditional or modern, you will be able to find it at a tea supply store.
