Tea Bags

Tea bags are a very convenient way to steep your tea. For a long time tea leaves could only be gotten loose, which meant that a strainer had to be used to make sure the drinkers weren’t sipping leaves. But the invention of the tea bag has all but eliminated the need for tea strainers.

Just about any type of tea can be gotten in tea bags now. If your favorite type of tea only comes in loose leaves, you can actually buy tea bags to fill and use. Again, this lets you steep the tea without having to use a strainer.

If you don’t like having to squeeze out the tea bags when you pull them out of the cup, they now make little tongs just for this purpose. You no longer have to burn your fingers on the bag or fumble to do it with spoons. Tea bags and their accessories are a great step forward in tea drinking.
